CTO
Danni is CTO and principal developer at Qomplio, which builds a SaaS platform for AI governance and regulatory compliance. He is responsible for architecture, development, infrastructure and security, and works with legal specialists to translate requirements from the EU AI Act, GDPR and NIS2 into software.
He builds AI features for classification, risk assessment and document parsing using Claude and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over regulatory source texts. The platform uses pgvector for vector search in PostgreSQL and combines LLM-assisted analysis with a deterministic rules engine. Versioned rulesets and audit trails make automated assessments traceable.
The aim is continuous compliance rather than a one-off assessment. The platform keeps watch over everything an assessment depends on: how the AI system is described, the vendors and evidence behind it, reported incidents and the rules derived from the regulations. When any of that changes, the assessment is run again. The system then determines whether the change needs to be put in front of the compliance team for evaluation, so people review what matters instead of re-checking everything.
The application uses TypeScript, React and Node.js, with database row-level security for tenant isolation. It runs on Kubernetes at Scaleway in the EU and is deployed through ArgoCD, with a preview environment for each change. Danni has also set up an AI-assisted development process in which agents prepare, implement and verify work. Changes require human approval, and the amount of work in progress is limited to what the team can review.
